In recent years, French investment in our country has experienced very sharp growth, which has led France to position itself as one of the three largest foreign investors in Portugal. From aeronautics to automotive and distribution, including banking, many large French groups have chosen our country as a preferred investment destination.

Mindful of this reality, PARES created the "Bureau Français" (French Desk), a project resulting from the bold vision of lawyer Myriam Ouaki. To the prestigious French newspaper LE FIGARO, the PARES Partner revealed the initial objective: to build a true intellectual bridge between the two countries, whose systems differ significantly, ensuring serene and excellent support to companies and individuals. Several years later, and with consolidated experience in supporting clients from not only France, but also Belgium, Switzerland and some non-European French-speaking countries, the objective has been achieved!

The success of this support currently relies, according to Myriam Ouaki, on a multidisciplinary team composed of six lawyers with perfect command of the French language, capable of covering all legal needs, thus enabling cross-functional management of all issues.
