PARES strengthens Tax Department with the integration of Tiago Sousa Freitas

The lawyer, who moves from Sousa Machado, Ferreira da Costa & Associados, joins the Firm as a Senior Associate

PARES has just announced the strengthening of its Tax Department with the integration of Tiago Sousa Freitas as a Senior Associate. The lawyer, who in recent years has focused his practice primarily on matters related to Tax Litigation, is moving from Sousa Machado, Ferreira da Costa & Associados.

Tiago Sousa Freitas began his professional career at Nobre Guedes, Mota Soares & Associados. In 2015, he moved to Leite de Campos, Soutelinho & Associados. 4 years later, he joined Deloitte Legal - Sociedade de Advogados, where he served as Associate and Manager (2019-2024).

Tiago Sousa Freitas holds a Law degree and a Master's in Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. He also has a postgraduate course in Taxation from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University and an "Executive Education in International Taxation" from the International Tax Center of the University of Leiden.
